Comments:

Poor propagation numbers and dire forecasts led me to believe this contest would
be a non-starter at worst, a make-work effort at best.

I worked JAs in broad daylight on 20M, and heard Asian stations such as China,
Hong Kong, and East Malaysia (they didn't hear me!!!) for the first time in
decades. Even 10M produced some Qs.

Result? A new personal best for this contest, achieved with 5 hours less op
time than the last, and 8 Qs fewer.
