Comments:
Thanks to John Evans, N3HBX, for letting me use his station in Poolesville, MD,
again. It's a great opportunity to play with all of the antennas. John's been
working very hard to fix lightning and antenna damage - everything was working
great for this contest.
I think KL2R is the LOUDEST KL7 I've ever heard on 40 - he was booming in about
10:00PM EDT. I worked VY1AAA early - about 6:46PM Saturday on 20 meters. Two
of the harder sections from here were worked relatively early!
The last two sections for the Sweep were Delaware and Alberta. Unassisted
Sweeps are always a lot of fun!
At 10:19 Sunday morning, I heard a LOUD VE6EX answering a CQ on 15 meters. I
found a frequency a few KCs up and started calling CQ. VE6VS called me for the
Sweep! It worked - but not the way I expected. :-)
I have switched to N1MM Plus finally. It worked very well for the weekend and
both networked computers had exactly the same score at the end! I forgot that
I had to change the CW Function Key messages to get the Exchange sent
correctly. Fortunately, I allowed lots of time for setup and was able to work
around it. :-)
