1. Saturday: bands fine and contest buzzing, but I had little time for it.
Family competition for best home made pizza had a much higher priority. I got
the 4th place award. My daughter said it was only because my older son was
away; presumably with him around I would come fifth.
2. Had a bit more time starting Sunday afternoon, but by then everybody was
done and likely walking their dogs or otherwise enjoying the outdoors. Hardly
anybody still active. Or was it my ears?
3. This was a historical event: did not work a single Ontario station, zero
sections out of four; zero VE3s worked. I heard all sections, and multiple
times, and multiple bands, and strong. And called, and called, and called. And
nobody answered. I am not sure what I have done to offend all Ontarians and all
CCO members, but I promise to behave from now on. If you hear me next
Sweepstakes, I might even treat you to some home made pizza (made fresh and
from scratch)...
