Comments:

Haven't really done this one in a while. Put in 10 hours in the chair in between
thanksgiving grocery shopping and taking my children out for lunch on Sunday.

Fun is working all the weak stations out West and getting nearly everyone on
the 1st call. I had a Flex Maestro to use for the test and I can see the
advantages and disadvantages. Still on the fence as to whether I will get the
current iteration or wait for an improved model. The 6700 performed pretty
well. I did lose a polyphaser which I was going to get rid of anyway. It
flashed over, SWR went to infinity and amp protection threw it offline. Had to
go bypass it in the rain and snow. Not fun.

I was unsure whether I would get a sweep and in the end I was looking for SB
and NE. Found a weak SB with deep QSB. After about a dozen calls he was in the
log. Joe, K0NEB topped it off with NE for the sweep, after which I just took it
casual until quitting time.

Bands were fairly good. 80 was open pretty much all night Saturday which was
nice. 40 was the money band and 20 provided some mults. 15 was vital to getting
KP2 and KP4. Nothing on 10.

Until the next one.
88, Ria
