Comments:

This is by far my favorite contest. Normally I earn the sweep within the first 5
hours, however I didn't get NT until 11:30AM EST on Sunday. This was the first
contest that I tried to run more than search and pounce. I held on to 7.169 for
5 hours on Sunday. Had a long run on 80m also. It was awesome. 160m and 10m were
totally dead. I only made 17 contacts on 15m to quickly grab 16 Mults. I did not
get out of the chair for the first 10 hours, took a 6 hour nap, then stayed in
the chair until 0256z. That made a real difference in my final score. Special
thanks to W2YC for the use of the 40m Beam, (it makes a huge difference running
LP) and for all of his contest mentoring in general. GO FRC!!!!!
