Comments:

We didn't beat our all-time score from last year, but we were close. Although
we did not reach our goal of 2000 Q's, we hope that we improve on our finish
from last year. The bands were odd this year, with 20m & 40m going long
early, but 40m & 80m were super quiet. Things died out early this year
too, and we packed it in Saturday night at 06:15Z, 90 minutes earlier than
usual. Saturday night was a fun romp on 40m and 80m. Sunday felt like more of
a slog than usual, but 15m was surprisingly productive to the Rockies and West
on Sunday afternoon. We were pleased that we didn't get too much intentional
interference and/or jamming, and we didn't have any frequency fights until
Sunday evening. One K9 was particularly covetous of our hard-earned 40m clear
frequency, and he started CQ'ing 300 Hz below us. It took a few minutes, but
he finally got the message that we were not pleased.

We put in a lot of work to upgrade the 20m wire beams, and didn't quite get
them working. We also threw up a last minute wire beam for 15m, and that was a
complete failure. All this work was done outside with a very
"special" odor, but we survived. The rotator on the tribander/402-CD
was also stuck NW. But otherwise, everything worked perfectly.

Thanks for all the Q's.
