Comments:

The station was about as simple as you can get: 1 radio, 1 antenna -- a push-up
mast with a 40/20 fan dipole at about 50 feet.

Last 2 sections were DE (worked several on Sunday) and NT. 

The 40-mtr band sounded more like 160, or maybe even 6, with weak signals that
faded in and out of the noise, and an occasional ear blaster.
