Comments:

First, it was rotten conditions at the start.  However, the bands seemed to
improve through most of Saturday.  Then, at 2330, my amplifier suffered a major
failure.  I tried to make a repair, but it seems more complicated than a quick
fix.

So, because I started the contest running high power intending a full-time
effort, and because the failure happened just before the first twenty-four
hours of the contest had elapsed, I submitted my poor score as a
"Classic" entry.

Last year's CQ WW CW was a lot more fun.
