Comments:

It never fails that a geomagnetic storm coincides with the NS nights when I can
participate!  Local power line arc noise quieted somewhat by the rain, but
there seem to be other noise emitters nearby too.  Found that turning off the
AGC got rid of a lot of the background hash from those noise sources and I
could hear much better.  No comment on propagation save for that I'm amazed
that anyone could hear me at all!
