Comments:

Icom 7410 and a dipole. Started on 20m but no joy, guess the band was short.
Went to 40 and had a little success but had to start S&P using VFO B. I
need some work here using VFOs effectively. Went to 80 and it was noisy as
ever, used the VFO again to S&P. Discovered turning off the built in NR
made a few signals readable but over all not very good condx tonight and only a
few loud signals. Had lost several stations that were weak and could not make
out their call. Thanks for the QSO. 73 Mike
