Comments:

The propagation was really poor especially to Europe; however the camaraderie
between the old contest ops and the new trainees was excellent.  The culinary
engineer N3DPB, XYL of WA3EKL kept us all fed with delicious chili, spaghetti,
chicken soup, kugel, and chocolate chip muffins.  All equipment and operators
performed perfectly.  The new 3 element triangular short vertical receiving
array did an outstanding job on 160 receptions.  Much knowledge was gained by
both old and new contest ops on strategy, stamina, propagation, station
equipment familiarity.  Everyone had a great time.  When the operators were not
on the air they were being entertained by WA3EKL’S three Grand daughters ages
4, 6, and 8.
