Comments:

Yuck....I should never have moved to 40m. That noise you heard was my rate (and
hopes) crashing into the ground. 

20m had its problems too...it seemed like there were holes in whatever it was
that was cloaking the U.S./VE. Some sig QTH's were LOUD, while others only a
state or two away were miserably weak with no hop of help from copying on a QSB
peak.
