Drove to a hilltop in western FN22 and set up the contest van with 150w into a
5-el Yagi. As noted by others, it was a noisy band in every direction (about S5
at an otherwise quiet rural location). I used SSB/CW only. I worked no one to
the west, but a decent number of stations in all other directions. Best DX was
probably FM28 (250+ miles). Relative to my previous attempts, this event
produced average results.
