Comments:

Operated in an igloo at the summit of Witt Hill in Norway, Maine. All the gear
had to be pulled up with sleds. I walked up with snow shoes each day, and back
down in the middle of the night. Used an IC-7300, running full power with
Bioenno LiFePo batteries. Antenna is a dipole at about 14 meters high. There
are a few photos on my QRZ page.

40 was open to Europe almost all the time, but hardly anything from South
America and I was too cold to wait up for sunrise to hear anything from Asia.
