First Top Band activity from W5UE's Lumberton, MS QTH. Antennas: 65/65 Inverted
L, 580' NE Bev, 300' W/NW/N/SE Bevs... Rig: K3 + Al-1500 Amp. Team of
K2FF/W5UE/N5GH. First night was pretty rough condx wise with cold front passing
through around midnight... made for noisy band condx. Second night much more
productive and quiet. K2FF/W5UE have been working for awhile on the antenna
farm... L and 580' Bev are permanent station components now... 300' Bevs
erected just for contest. N5GH also "double-dipped" on Saturday with
a nice SO showing in NAQP RTTY on my second station.... good fun for all... de
