Comments:

K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care
retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC.

For the Jan. 2017 NAQP CW I (N3UM) was the only op in town so I
went SOLP Unassisted. We had welcome family guests whose Sat.
flight home was cancelled, so I was only QRV for the last 4.5 hr.
after their early goodnight to prepare for a flight at 07 EST Sun.

I had hoped for ~9 hr. BIC, but being "fresh meat" on the low bands
for half that time turned out to be fast and fun; with K = 0 to 2,
condx and activity were both good. I made 272 Qs in 270 minutes,
with peak rates for a few min. often over 100/hr.

I first checked 20 m. ~0120Z and found it DEAD: only 2 PSK 31 and
NO CW signals on the scope even though VOACAP said 20 would be open t
o W0 and W7.

BUT, 40 was alive; ran 37 Qs in 41 min. for 54/hr, then when
rate dropped tuned for 15 more Qs and 18 total mults. Got a much
longer and faster run on 80 m., 176 Qa 0246-0505Z for 76/hr then
10 S&P, total 186 Qs in 37 states/VE provinces and 5 ctys. Went
to 160 m. for just 28 min. starting 0526Z and got 30 Qs and 17
mults, 14 of the Qs in an 11-min. run, 75/hr, NOT usual for 160!
