Absorbent cotton to staunch the ear-bleeding! Hi Hi Lordy, what a slog this
was.  Although this was a contest and I love contests, I don't believe I really
want to do it again just this way!  I suppose there is a lot more of this kind
of activity ahead, so I'm going to work on lowering my expectations.
