Weather in Michigan during the contest created the most difficult VHF/UHF condx
I've ever experienced in a contest. The constant rain caused SWR problems with
my 222 yagi, and triggered some new QRN source nearby which covered 6M in noise
during the daylight hours on Saturday and also late Sunday afternoon. The
constant dense fog laid like a wet blanket over the area for the entire contest
and made the higher bands difficult. Many stations that I can normally work
easily were difficult or impossible to work. It was frustrating how many times
I'd tune across 6M and NOT ONE STATION was audible, even when I'd see 6M
activity described in the ON4KST chat room.

Nice to work several EN82 locals with unfamiliar callsigns that I had not
worked before.

Even with all the difficulties, I still had a good time. Thanks to everyone for
the QSOs, and I'll CU in June or maybe sooner!

73, Dave/K8CC
