Comments:

Seems there is a correlation between "no power line noises" and
"lack of 6M activity". Lowest qso score in over a decade--made a
measly 10 qsos from 5PM til 11PM on Sunday (dismal activity everywhere).
Only bright spots: equipment worked 100% and made 61 qsos via MSK144 (first
time used in contest)---and worked as far as NE, AR, and FL.
Terrible tropo, no Es, erratic scatter, and no aurora--not a pretty picture of
possible 6M propagation.
Didn't even hear three grids contingent to my own grid!...and worked only 4
stations in my own state! Worked more Maritime stations though this year than
ever before in this January Contest (5).
