Many thanks to Tom,K8AZ for hosting my first ever SO effort in a 160m contest. 

The band was not good on Friday night. Very, very few EU were heard and even
fewer were worked. Stateside activity kept me awake and focused until I took a
much needed rest after EU sunrise. Saturday night was much better on the DX
front as many EU were heard/worked. Great fun to stumble on A35W the "old
school" way without benefit of a packet spot. 

Huge TNX to Dave, W9PA for his efforts in making the packet/skimmer system
available. 

All in all a very interesting experience.
