Comments:

Trying to get my new Flex 6700 going. Amazing radio! Had a lot of noise most of
the weekend. That's usually a sign that the antennas are too high. I couldn't
figure out how to get the Writelog voice keyer to work, so I spent all weekend
without a voice keyer. Probably lost a few Qs by not endlessly CQing. East
coast seemed to be blessed with the propagation this time.  I spent much time
with a rate of zero. Nice panadapter on the Flex. It spent a lot of time with
no signals. Most signals were weak and in the noise. 
Only DX was Caribbean and XE. Only one VE, VE7DAY. Very unusual propagation or
lack thereof! Nice to work Fred, K3ZO. He had a good story about hearing me
when I was KE5FI on 160 down in Central America hours before any others came
in. It was good to have radials running into salt water! Fred is my inspiration
to keep on contesting!
