Comments:

I was planning on a high power operation but a few days prior to the contest,
1/2 of the 240 volt circuit feeding the remote site failed.  So with just a 120
volt circuit, I decided to play barefoot.  Conditions on Saturday were pretty
good, including lots of 10 meter contacts in South America.  When conditions
went downhill on Sunday, I decided to go QRT and work on digging up the bad
power feed at the remote site.  I found the section of aluminum wire that had
dissolved.  It was 10' from the end of a 300' run so I was able to splice a new
piece on the end.
