Comments:

The lead up to the contest was fraught with issues including a fried K3
(mine)interface board & USB/Serial cable.  The recent investments we have
made into a new computer network for the station and new receive antenna
options paid huge dividends with no computer/network issues and vastly improved
receiving especially on 40m.  We (I) probably spent too much time Friday night
pushing 160m for mults causing us to miss a few mults on 80m we should have
gotten.  10m was dead - WAIT ALIVE - oops, dead.  We never heard the
northwestern states or much of VE on 10m despite the two openings.  We were
shooting for the 12K+ mark on Q's again, but with 10m the way it is, and
getting worse, it just wasn't meant to be.  Is it really 7 more months until
CQWW?  Maybe we'll need to sneak in a RTTY contest and plan on a serious 160m
effort for 2018 until then!  All the best.  73.  David, NA2AA
