Comments:

Construction of the home station was "done enough" to use with wire
antennas. When the radio choked, I changed goals and chased sections.
Eventually found the remaining Canadians: AB, MB, and NL... to my slow U.S.
list of SD, ND, NE, WV and WY was added EWA and NNY! I eventually worked them
and VI, and even heard a PR station zoom thru - but he didn't stay long. Many
of my west coast contacts were on 40 meters using an inverted-V. For 80, I used
a sloping dipole off the 72' antenna support... uh, I mean, empty tower.
