Loaded (shortened) dipole for 80 meters

I did about as well as I could given propagation, etc. The secret was staying
in the chair! 15m was non-existent to Europe on Sunday. I should have checked
10m more often Saturday, just LU, TI and a local. The rest was all worked on
Sunday. 80m did not seem as good as last year, no DX for me this time. JAs
were loud on 40m both mornings, but I couldn't manage any zone 24 or 28 QSOs
there.
I replaced my 5-year-old shack computer with something a little more modern,
and I managed to get everything working by early Friday afternoon. My biggest
concern was having the LP-PAN stuff working again so I could see a waterfall of
signals in Write Log.
I missed the following CQ zones: 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 26, 34 and 36.
Thanks to the many stations who pulled my signal out of the crud.
