Comments:

Very frustrating outing. Murphy struck on Friday night when the 80/160m antenna
feedline at the top of the tower was open. I had checked everything the day
before but guess the strong winds last week are to blame. Took an hour off
Saturday afternoon to climb the tower and repair the feedline. Doing this in
-3C weather with a good breeze blowing is not much fun.

Propagation improved Sunday over Saturday on the high bands. On Saturday there
was a very weak opening to deep South America on 10m. Sunday was much better
with very strong zone 12/13 and a few weak zone 8 stations.

The opening to Europe on 15m was much better Sunday than Saturday.

Saw a very nice Europe sunrise bump in propagation on 40/80 on Sunday morning.
Not as noticeable on Saturday.

Living on a suburban postage stamp lot with limited space for antennas coupled
with the high noise level, means the low bands are a big challenge from this
QTH.

Asia was weak on all bands and it was a struggle to work any zone 24-28
stations. Best propagation to Asia on 40m was about two hours after local
sunrise.

Difficult to find a run frequency on any band (except 10m).

Hope to see all the NA stations in sweepstakes!
