Comments:

Ahhh contest season has started.  Nice for the summer electrical storms to be a
distant memory and for us the fires to abate a little.  Didn't get to operate
as much as planned but did manage to work a few.  Conditions were not so good
but not so bad either.  Hey, we could have had a CME which would been disaster.
 On Friday after the contest started I discovered that my rotor had gone
haywire.  I was able to fix it on Saturday without much effort.  No problems
with the amplifier this time so all is well as I hadn't fixed my spare yet. 
The next big one for me is the CW sweepstakes followed by the CQ WW Cw contest
after Thanksgiving.  No more phone contests for me as I can't seem to find my
microphone!
