My first CQ WW RTTY contest, after less than a year using RTTY; I'm starting
to get the hang of it.  My 80 dipole is really too low to be very effective;
my best antenna on 10M doesn't hear much these days of no sun; 20 & 40
were
the go-to bands, 15 was not bad considering I have only a dipole.

It was good to see Randy, K5ZD, spotted on 10; that one contact was only one
point but three mults -- thanks Randy! It also led to three more Qs, nine
more points, and four more mults.

This was also the first time I used on-line scoreboards, a new feature of
Scott, N3FJP's, contest SW. It was reasuring to see that I was holding my
own and my system was doing as well as I would expect. In the past I often
wondered how I was really doing, but watching others' scores helped me to
ascertain that all was "OK" with my progress.

73 -- Larry -- W1DYJ
