Great visibility to go along with 55F & 10 mph NW winds; conditions poor to
South, unlike the 2 meter SPRINT last week. Did manage QSOs with CM97an, DM07db,
& CM98no. Best DX 339.8 miles with KC6ZWT near Folsom, CA.
FT726 + TE Systems brick 100 watts & 10 element M>2 yagi @ 2200 ft above
SEa Level in the Santa Monica Mts.; FM QSOs with about 8 members of Ventura
County Amateur Radio Society (VCARS) & Conejo Valley Amateur Radio Club
(CVARC).
Ahead of time, I'd heavily advertised the 222 Mhz SPRINT on various local
reflectors.
