Comments:

There was good activity in the Pacific Northwest with two other much-appreciated
rovers out there (WE7X/R and KE7MSU/R) and a few new call signs. I roved the
CN86/CN87/CN96/CN97 intersection SE of Puget Sound and just NW of the Mount
Rainier National Park boundary.

Toward the end of the sprint, there was some aurora propagation into VE6-land,
and picked up VA6ZO in DO32 on CW. I believe this was my first aurora QSO as a
rover. No other enhanced propagation was noticed. Other good catches were
VE7AFZ in CN89 and KF7PCL in CN76).

Throughout the Sprint, I periodically gave a CQ on 52.525 FM. I got one response
from K7OSK in CN86. This is only the second time in years of roving contests and
sprints that a CQ on 6m FM has resulted in a response.

The 83 QSOs were from 23 unique calls. A total of nine grids were worked (CN87,
CN86, CN85, CN88, CN76, CN89, CN97, CN96 and DO32).
