Comments:

Massive station failure during a QSO with K9PG.  Must be sabatoge from SMC.

During QSO with Paul SWR suddenly went horribly high. . before KPA-1500 shut
down it took out the power supply for the FT-1000MP -- hopefully that's all. 
Suspect a failure in the coax line to the 160m Inv L started the cascade of
problems.

Bad news; but this is only the 2nd major equipment failure in 25 years, so guess
I can't complain too much.   Sadly, was working New England stations one after
the onther, including two QSO's with Maine.
