Comments:

The first 45 mins were great, low noise, etc. Then had to go out for a family
function. When I returned in about 3 hours, the band was VERY noisy, with heavy
QRN. Stuck it out, doing mostly S&P and packet spots. 
The next night to band was quieter, but with periods of high QRN. Spent more
time running ( following W4MYA's advice of " run em " ).
Even though the band was somewhat noisy, got a lot of EU callers which made
things interesting.
