Comments:

Given the collapsed main tower, I drove to the peninsula road separating the
river mouth from the Gulf of Bothnia. Sweet water to USA, salty (200 mS/m) water
to Europe. Could hear a double dozen of USA signals on 14 MHz, but could only
reach W4OC. With the 14 ft length whip on the car 7 MHz was slightly better
using the TS-480 on a free time battery (could even hear AA3B and VE2KF on 7
