Comments:

K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care
retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC.

N3UM snd W3GB operated Multi-2 in the Jan. 2018 NAQP CW. N3UM ran
on 20 m. to start and got 65 Qs and 23 mults 1800-1909Z, 57/hr,
good but not great. Run rate then slowed, but click and pounce
on spots was better at 45/hr.

W3GB had non-ham business till 2030Z; together we then got
136 Qs and 48 mults 20-22Z on 15, 20, and 40 m. 22-00Z was
slow due to supper breaks. Then low bands got exciting, with
combined rates of 77 to 105/hr 00-04Z on 80 and 40m, all click
and pounce.

At 0424 we stayed on 80 and QSY’d 40 to 160 m. until QRT at 0552
for 81 and then 50/hr plus 42 more mults. Both 80 and 160 were
amazing; together they produced 47% of our QSOs and 48% of our
mults. On ALL bands we worked 48 states, missing only Nebraska
and Alaska; on 80 we got 47 of those, all but HI. On 160 we
worked AZ, UT, ID, MT, and CA plus 30 closer states, ON, and QC.
So, more time and activity would probably have gotten us more
states on 160.

On all bands we got 9 VE provinces including YT, and worked 7
of those on 80m. We claimed 767 Qs and 150.3 K vs our previous
best of 709 Qs and 116.2 K points working M2 in Jan. 2016.
