Balloon lofted end-fed half-wave vertical on top of a kite pole swayed in the
wind both nights.  Polarization varied according to wind speed and direction.  

Higher winds kept pushing the wire low enough to snag on nearby mesquite trees;
requiring periodic unsnagging.
