Comments:

Keeping in practice with poor antennas in crummy locations, but I do enjoy
messing with people's minds and giving out a rare multiplier. Operating at my
daughter's QTH in Montclair, NJ, where my wife and I are on a 12 day babysitting
gig while our daughter and her husband are in Italy. 43 foot wire, half a dozen
not very long radials on a city lot, with a several hundred foot ridge starting
a quarter mile to the west. Lost more jump balls than I do at my somewhat
similar winter QTH in Florida. 

Loud guys in OH, VA, and W1. I did manage NA8V on three bands.

Hope to have more luck from here next week!
