Comments:

FT8 is an exceptionally powerful communication protocol, but it's designed for
weak signals in marginal conditions when SSB won't work.  I wish ops would
switch to SSB when 6m Es supports much faster run rates.  The incompatibility of
the FT8 North American contest mode and the signal reports that have migrated
into VHF from HF is a serious problem that must get addressed.
