Comments:

I set a goal of 500 QSOs.  My antenna was a 20-foot-long wire vertical hidden
inside a composite flagpole with 25 radials of various lengths underneath.  My
high-power remote antenna tuner was able to achieve a workable SWR on 40M - 15M,
and I was able to run between 400 and 500W output.  Conditions generally stunk,
but I was able to work nearly every station I heard calling CQ.  I was also able
to do a lot of CQing.  The rates weren't quite like I enjoy from VP2MDG, but
they were comparable to S&P, especially later in the contest.  Towards the
end of the contest signals from EU got loud on 20M, so I blew past 500 Qs to
finish with 525.  As with many goals, if I had known I could achieve 500, I
might have set a target of 600.  Perhaps next year.
