Comments:

I've never been on 6 Meters before.  I put up a dipole antenna to give this a
try but couldn't get out more than the 5 mile local radius, likely due to using
some coax that had spent the winter on the ground.  I switched over to my 135 ft
dipole and was able to work a few.  There will be much to learn before the
"magic" of 6M is realized!
