Comments:

Conditions fair at best and overall activity on CW seemed down. Listened on FT8
frequencies for quite a while and, in looking at the WSJT logs see some FD
specific activity but not a lot. I have to wonder if FT8 impacted CW
participation. In further thinking about the issue, given the intent of FD as a
means of preparing for emergency operations, I am convinced FT8 should not be an
available mode for FD since it is of no value in the exchange of information in
emergency situations. Yes, I am quite active on FT8 so this view is not one of a
crochety OF stuck in the past. :>)
