Club: Society of Midwest Contesters

Comments:

For the second year in a row, the water level was too high on the Wisconsin
River to allow operation from a sandbar, but we found a spot on a neighbor's
beach right at the shoreline. We did the whole event with water waves lapping at
our feet using a ground mounted vertical with partially submerged radials and a
40-meter dipole.
