Comments:

I've been contesting since the mid-90's but I didn't get serious
about HF contesting until Tony, K1KP, encouraged me to join the
YCCC in late 2011. So my HF experience has mostly been with
sunspots. Now I get to experience HF contests without sunspots.

What an experience! In 2015, with essentially the same setup, my
raw score was 389K. At 76K this was surprising lower, mostly due
to the lack of 15 and 10.

With everyone compressed to the lower bands, and the usual wide
and lousy audio from many contestants, I found it was mostly a
cacophony of noise. My RF gain control never experienced so much
rotation! I suspect I will have high error rate of exchanges.

It also was a minor project this weekend, not the major project,
so the BIC time was not great. I still had fun, and late Sunday
I was happy to find lots of US station that were new mults.

My wish was to finish 80M WAS: AK, MT, NV. Didn't hear any of
them.

Rig: TS-2000
Log: N3FJP's CQ WPX Contest Log v4.4
Antennas:
10 HB 5el yagi @ 30ft (not that it mattered much...)
   15 Rotatable Dipole @ 33ft (noisy - no F/R)
20 HB Moxon @ 36ft (works quite well)
   80/40 trapped 80/40M dipole @ 22ft (modified
          AD DX-CC, much too low)
  160 A "temporary" 160 dipole run "zig-zag" around
the back yard at about 15 ft average height,
fed at the AD DX-CC feedpoint.
