Comments:

What a major case of pilot error. Things started out good but when I was running
on 40 I didn't hear any of the spots on 20 to s&p.  I just thought the condx
were rotten but it came time to go to 20 at 1344z when 40 dried up. Amp would
not xmit, restarted the amp, still nothing.  I then discovered the problem. 
Last night I had put my decoder in manual to go to the 40 & 80 ant to try on
6 mtrs and check swr.  Well that won't work since I have stubs in those ants,
hi, but I never switched the decoder back to auto.

When I did that the band came alive, hi, as I was on the hexbeam then but more
errors ensued.  A popup told me no access to com 4 which I thought was the K3
but in reality it was the winkey.  Anyway no matter what I did I couldn't xmit
on 20 with the K3.  Then I rebooted but did that to the wrong computer, rebooted
the right computer but kept getting the com 4 errors.  Succeeded in xmitting and
called K1DW but when I tried to send the report I got another com 4 error.

Anyway I was dead from 1344z and when it was finally 1400z I took a deep breath
and restarted everything.  For some reason I had to unplug the winkey usb cable
and re-plug it but everything was working again at 1405z.  I don't know how well
I would have done in those 16 minutes on 20 but the band sounded pretty good so
I might have had a good run but will never know.  Just glad nothing blew up and
everything SEEMS to be working again.  Film at 1900z.
