First contest using the newly acquired Alpha 99 from Bill W4RM - what an
incredible piece of equipment.  The amp runs exceptionally quiet, a welcome
change from the AL-82.  Rock solid and easy to tune.  I think this one will stay
in the shack for a long time.

40 meters stayed hot well into the European sunrise and the 20 meter opening
Saturday night was great - Europe, Asia, and Pacific were all loud!
