Comments:

Things came to a screeching halt about 30 minutes before the end of SS CW with
an as-yet un-diagnosed failure in the RF line to the antennas. Things were just
going along TOO smoothly!
My objective for SS CW was to get at least 100 Qs on each of the 3 planned
operating bands - 20, 40, and 80M. Objective achieved in spite of not getting
off to a great start Saturday. Things improved once I got on 80M late in the
evening. 80M was what got the juices flowing, because neither 20 nor 40M had.
80M brought me to just over 300 Qs by the time I stopped for bed at 0200, or was
that really 0100 (gotta love those time changes!)? Plans to get rolling early on
Sunday went by-the-by when the body refused to move at 0700. Sunday went nicely,
including a break for a nice walk in the afternoon to refresh myself. The
evening was going along nicely when there was an unrecoverable fault that I
suspect to be a failed cable between the K3 and antenna switch/tuner/in-line
wattmeter (switching the antenna selector switch to the 50-ohm dummy load still
showed high VSWR, and that's not good. Had this not happened, crossing the 500Q
goal line was in sight. Maybe next time (but not SS SSB!).

Tnx for all the Qs es hope the resolution is simple and quick - an issue for
tmw.
