Comments:
Even with the smaller 10 & 15 numbers I was very surprised to beat last
year's
score. Even more shocking was 160 as I had 4 more Q's but 19 more mults this
year which somewhat evened things out. Another strange thing was hearing
intense
static crashes Saturday night with my bog on 80 & 160. I've never
experienced
that before. I thought that only happened using xmit antennas to listen.
I hope to have a 2nd beam next year to actually be so2r. I was so1r but it was
nice to reduce the amp workload by using both rigs and be able to instantly hop
to another band. Highlights as usual were breaking pileups I had no business
being in and my little station performed nicely. I only ran on 20 and hope to
expand that to other bands next year. I had a bunch of fun.
