4 hours before the end of the contest wind was howling, antenna was down broken
in half - but still a great experience!
I was located on the shore, 20m from the water - a really beautiful spot.
Raising the antenna was a bit of a hassle as there was not much free space. Was
able to do only two elevated radials (1mtrs from ground). Installed also an
active antenna with two loops which I was using to feed into the SDR to show me
the band (used HDSDR).
I am happy of the result. Wanted to make 1000 QSOs but was not possible. Working
the west was pleasure. Heard all the way to ZL. The East however was another
matter. Barely anyone could here me. Central and eastern Europe with 599+20
cq-ing in my face. However, all was becoming good once the clock turned 00
hour.
