Comments:

It has been fun although RTTY is not exactly my piece of cake. I've been in
Florence all saturday and was not exactly feeling like taking part to CQWW RTTY.
Had a couple of friends doing it seriously and wanted to give them some points,
that was the main reason for being active.
I operated only on Sunday, took my breaks and slept soundly at nights. Ended up
having fun on the bands despite spotty conditions. Played without cluster simply
spinning the VFO. Every once in a while I scanned 10m trying to work a few
stations there and was lucky enough to spot an opening that yielded 18 contacts.
It was fun to chase those fading and weak signals. I probably spent too much
time on 10 but it was indeed fun, much more than fighting the big boys on a
packed 20m band.
15m were a bit underperforming than usual. Nonetheless managed to work a couple
of US stations and that was a nice catch. Heard several YB stations but couldn't
get them to decode my callsign.
Didn't hit 80m till the very last. Couldn't get the dipole to work on the band
with the tuner, except for a very small bandwidth around 3580KHz. Sat there and
did a few CQs. Being Sunday evening and since I never showed up on the band that
yielded a small "fresh-meat" run of 19 contacts.
Ended the contest with 13h of active time, way below the 24 maximum allowed time
for the "Classic" overlay so there's some room for improvement if I'll
ever feel like doing a serious showing in here.

Next contest for me will be CQWW SSB in a month.
