Comments:

IC-7410 & 110ft open feed doublet @ 25FT fed as T Vertical against 5BTV
radial field. Experimented with a very short BOG pointed at EU and was amazed at
the ridiculously low noise flow. Sadly, I found out I have a buzz saw noise
every 100kHz that essentially negated its use. I plan to add radials at each
ground rod which should help. Will also look to add high pass filter to reduce
AM BCB. Only EU I heard was OK1CF and my 100w didnt cut it. Lots of good signals
and a joy to have top band shaping up! Thanks for the QSO. 73 Mike
