Comments:

Another Totally Remote operation. Much of the station was rebuilt and/or
upgraded over the past year. This was a test drive. A couple of door handles
fell off.

Three most remarkable things were:

1. Just how awful the conditions were,
2. How terrible half the signals sounded and,
3. How extremely well our three First-time operators did.

Igor N3TOD\UA9CDC connected his K3 to our POS2 K3 from 5,382 miles-distant
Ekaterinburg, Russia. In this, his first foray, Igor made 876 of our nearly
2,000 Qs!

John-K3ZV and Nate-W4NA are both highly experience contesters but this was their
first time operating M/M by remote. They each exceeded 200 Qs and ended up
within three Qs of each other!

Jay-WS7I connected from 2,055 miles-distant Spokane, WA to escape my nagging
him. He is a top RTTYer who succumbed to my begging for him to help us on SSB.
A fine operator!

Bill-W3UL is a remote stalwart from Annapolis, MD whose 70 mi. haul provided the
team with Bill's solid numbers.

Mike-W4AAW operates using a large-screened laptop set up on his kitchen table
(30' from the shack). This allows him to (1) use the network and monitor how
things are going and to, (2) get some relief from Dexter (Black Lab), who lies
near the operator's feet and emits odors.

This was our first SSB contest using DF3CB's RemAud system. High quality audio
both ways. We give it high marks.

Many thanks for the Qs and Mults. We hope you had as much fun as we did!
